| Pondia, the gifted land is in ruin. The Foul Sisters, dark sorceresses from beyond the pond burned the Great Tree at the cost of their lives leaving in their wake an Ashen Curse. Magic as we knew it is gone. The once bountiful soil is tainted. Food rots on the vine,and giant insects with heinous appetites roam the land devouring all those in their path. The King of Pondia has abandoned the countryside telling those who remain to flee to the capital for no one is coming to save them. Until Rana, inspired by tales of heroes from ages long past, decides to venture out to revive the Guild of Heroics and save Pondia from the Sister's final curse.With the help of the Last Witch, Ossica, and a wondrous tadpole, Cris, they journey across the accursed land.
